well, since its been pretty much an entire year (minus 5months) since i have driven the Nissan. but i assure ya. its coming along. the engine just got some spiffy motor mounts, and bushings. the trans mount is a Energy suspension mount, mated to the factory Nissan crossmember. its taken longer to get this far because a large portion of my cash was spent on a trip to spain this summer.

that aside, all thats left is welding up a front sump oil pan, clutch issues (internal slave VS external, and will the factory master cyl be enough), and find some way to make headers that clear everything, driveshaft is ready to be made (one piece), few wiring things, get a carb, and put front of my car back together. .
its close.
and its still gonna have less than 1,000 dollars in it.

SCCA stuff - bitched about things (see posts)

Work stuff - bitched about things (not for public consumption)

Family stuff - family stuck listening to me bitch about things (trip to Atlantic Beach, NC = awesome)

Car stuff - acquired new brake set up and new sponsor - Racing Brake (very nice stuff); Watched Davis black out every shiny bit on the MINI; and followed reports from Virginia that my brother Jeff "Big Chief" Gregor is modifying the snot out of his MLRS (actual name of vehicle too long to type).

Yes, sponsor, or at least a sponsorship-type relationship.

Racing Brake FTW!

First race on the new set-up will be this weekend.  I will post honest comments about the RB stuff afterwards.

I settled with el cheapos, because the tokico illumina's were back ordered too, so i'll just wait til around spring or so and see what the deal is with koni's or just get on the waiting list. Tuner shops told me they were back ordered, ground controled sourced me 2 front ones but they were 200 a piece, i was like eeeeffffffff that  lol. The other places had them for like 137 a piece

On the contrary grandpa, I was not talking about the truckster.  I would never call it a POS.  I was refering to Scotty's POS Sentra with the blown Motor.
I had already committed to refing a roller derby bout in knoxville on Aug 14.  Otherwise I would have confirmed weeks ago if I was going to do the track day.

When are you going to hike up you skirt and start a lemons team so I can really whoop yo azz on the track?Shocked
