    Posted: 21 June 2010 at 9:04pm
I started this new thread to get commitments for the track day, which will be August 14, 2010, at Talladega Gran Prix.

If we get 20 cars (max. limit), it will truly be a $100.00 WEEKEND Track Day.  If less than 20 cars, cost of $2000.00 divided by number of drivers will reflect the actual cost.  If we have 20 participants, we will have 4 run groups running for 15 minute sessions all day, with some corner work (4 corners worked each session) required to make this happen.

I need commitments, and a $100.00 deposit asap, to reserve your spot, and to pay the Track the required $1000.00 deposit to reserve the date.

Count me in.  I can pay you on Sat if you doing the TSS or Sunday at the autocross, or I can mail you the bucks, chuck.  Your call.

Jeff:

Saturday or Sunday will work.

I took Davis with me to Little Talladega the first time for a driving school when he was Max's age.

He didn't get to ride but in a parade lap, but he had a good time.

I'm committed.  Can I pay via PayPal?  Not sure if I will be at this Sundays event.

You already have me listed, but I'll reiterate my commitment here.  Should the $100 deposit check be payable to you?  I'll send it out today.

Despite the Gregor overload here, I guess I'm in. Wink  I should be able to get the money to you this weekend or shortly there after.

If you can pay at the Solo this Sunday, it would be much appreciated.  Make the check payable to me.  If you need to send the check to me in some other fashion, pm me and I will provide an address.

I think we have a distinct possibility, based upon my overwhelming charm, and based upon my conversations with Katrina at the Track, at having an ongoing relationship with the Track which may result in this kind of a deal being extended to us regularly, at least that seemed to be implied.

Travis:

Definitely a Gregor overload, only one of whom is not completely obnoxious (I'll give you a guess - it's not me or "BigChief").  You should have heard how "BigChief" wanted to respond to my comments on his alternative lifestyle (not that there is anything wrong with that) screen name.  He kept himself in check, being the new guy here.  I bet he'll tell someone his whiny little broken arm story at the track day.  Boo Freakin' Hoo.

Nice variety of cars, with the exception of the Integras.

He used to drive a MINI - really gay.

He now has a Mitsubishi Lancer Ralliart Sportback - the car with the longest name in the history of the automobile - I suppose the long name makes up for the owner's other shortcomings.

I could always bring all three of my Integras Big smile. Haha, in case we needed more.

On a serious note, I do have another friend in an Integra that is interested. He is going to do his first autox this weekend at the Luau. He will more than likely pay then for the Track Day. I'm recruitin'.

Will:

I stand corrected sir - now that is a consumer friendly car name.

Jeff/Travis:

Thanks for recruiting - We get to 20 peeps and we have a $100.00 weekend day track day - an almost unheard of deal.

I welcome any and all Integras - the Subaru Family Truckster thinks they make for a tasty little meal.

First 20 to commit and pay are in.  Once you pay, I hope no issue or conflict will prevent you from attending, but if it does - it will be your responsibility to find a replacement and work out the financials or just bail, as this is not a refundable deposit situation - I ain't running no business.

Tn325i - identify yourself.  Bimmer-friendly event, I assure you.

Count appears to be at 10 or  maybe 11.

If you can pay at the Luau Solo - awesome.

If you need a physical address to send a check or a PayPal address, pm me and I will provide that information to you.

so apparently when push becomes shove - everyone is in?
crazy, but awesome. i was having reservations that we would hit 15,
now i think there will be people left over asking you "when's the next one"

cause we ARE limited to 20 right?
(if we're not, i think we should cut it off at 20)

5.  Justin Wingfield
6.  Allen Bradley
7.  Travis Cox

1.  John Brown
2.  Troy Watson
3.  Phil Fitzmaurice
4.  Byron Evans
5.  Doug Evans
6.  Steve Reed

What's the latest we can pay? ( unless all the spaces are taken prior to that, of course)

I don't know if i'll have my e30 done by then.

Kenan:

I apologize for leaving you out of the list of "possibles"  - I knew when I posted that I was probably leaving somebody out.

The latest you can pay is really going to be dictated by who and how many are serious and pay up.  I'm a bit more confident that we can reach 20 now, and when we hit the magic number, we're done, as the track has limited it to that number, and I feel that 20 is the right amount, as it will allow for the best combination of track time and price.
